Audessa is a Chrome extension that helps users listen to webpage articles using browser-provided text-to-speech voices. A mobile article queue is planned for a future release.
Information Audessa Processes
When you activate Audessa for Chrome on a webpage, the extension processes article text in your browser to extract readable content and play it aloud.
Audessa stores extension preferences such as selected voice, playback speed, word highlighting, high contrast, dyslexia-friendly font, and text size using Chrome extension storage.
Audessa collects your email address only if you voluntarily submit it through a waitlist or notification form.
